In the spring of this year, the second-year student of the master’s degree, Alexey Titushkin, completed a semiannual academic exchange program at the Technological University of Munich (TUM). As part of the program, he studied the technology of production and research of nanomaterials and nanostructures at the Walter Schottky Institute (WSI). Gained valuable experience when working on the installations of molecular-beam epitaxy, used to create semiconductor coatings and nanostructures (quantum dots, nanowires, etc.). As a result of the training, practical courses on the use of various methods for studying the structure and properties of nanostructures were passed.
